    Oats and oatmeal?

Okay, thank you. And that's what I meant; a mash, not the "human" type of oatmeal. It would only be in small amounts though; everything must be in balance.

    Oats and oatmeal?

So I know people feed their horses oats sometimes. Is oatmeal (just the meal and water) acceptable? If they like it, is it okay to give them? I was thinking it would be a nice meal for cold mornings, a warmed up oatmeal and their hay. But if it would hurt them then I'm not going to.

    Sheep milk?

Milk isn't vital to me, but I figure if I'm raising them for meat, I may as well get milk out of them too.

Anyone know anything about student loans?

I decided to just stay where I am, build credit, and save money. I'll move when my fiance and I get married. (2-3 years)

Anyone know anything about student loans?

I wanted an honest answer without the snide comments. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. That's all I wanted to know. Thank you.

Anyone know anything about student loans?

You aren't the only one who pays taxes. Any money I get from the government is nothing compared to what they're going to take from me when I start working, so technically, you aren't paying for my student funds, I am. Thank you for your opinion.

Anyone know anything about student loans?

I don't see the difference. Unless student privacy is not allowed. :/ Well, if I can't get it I'll just wait. I won't live in their tiny dorms/apartments.

Anyone know anything about student loans?

So this year of college is totally covered by grants. However, I wanted to use my student loan on a down payment on a house. My school adviser says they probably won't give it to me for that, but it'd be the same as if I collected it for housing... And my aunt has used her loans on cars before...

My reasoning for why country people are more fun than city people...

Well, he thought it was a legit dolphin. If he had said "dolphin fish", that would've been different. That reminds me that I wanted to go fishing... Shark fishing...

My reasoning for why country people are more fun than city people...

:yuckyuck They're book smart, but that's the extent of it. One of them tried very hard to convince me that the stuffed fish on his wall was a variety of dolphin. He wouldn't believe me when I said dolphins are mammals, and no mammal I know of has scales. So I finally looked it up and he changed...

My reasoning for why country people are more fun than city people...

Man, I should have. :th The look on his face would've been priceless. I think I will be using this saying occasionally.. You can't. I'm heading back to the country ASAP. That's why I like this site so much. The people on it are intelligent, nice, and fun. City people are only intelligent...

My reasoning for why country people are more fun than city people...

So I sent a message to my high school senior friends, suggesting that for "senior skip day" we go to the Whiskey Barrel Saloon and ride the mechanical bull. Most of them didn't even reply, or left the conversation on Facebook. The only person to agree so far was my Native American friend. This...

    Haflingers or Friesians?

I love riding. I just can't do it much right now. My goal is to get horses when I purchase a house with property.

    Haflingers or Friesians?

I'll check it out. I plan on losing weight, but for now I want to make sure I'm not going to smash the horse. (Just kidding. At the very worst I'd cause muscle/bone damage.)

Livestock guardians for sheep and cattle?

Definitely. In that case, I'll go with dogs. I'd have different size herds; I was thinking of raising a few hundred sheep and cattle to sell, and then have a few herds of various animals for myself. Obviously it'll all depend on what resources I can get my hands on. I have an ideal property, but...

Livestock guardians for sheep and cattle?

Okay then. I was wondering if there was an ideal ratio. I'll have to wait and see what property I can get them before I decide how many to get.

    Haflingers or Friesians?

I'm in Michigan now, but I'm thinking of going to Ohio or Wyoming. Or maybe I'll stay in Michigan. It's hard to say. Perchie.girl; It's fine if it's off-topic. As long as it's educational/entertaining, it's fine by me! And you're right; learning will help me make a choice. Also, probably a dumb...
