HaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!Great photo Kevin, good luck. 11 mls is alot to be placing in one muscle at one time. Am I wrong? Opinions anyone? And to Tarann...not unusual to feel squeamish about giving shots to your own animals... I've been shooting animals for 15 years (but not goats) and I can't...
I'm very excited for you! Last week my pygmy gal gave birth for the first time and my first goat birthing experience with my OWN goat. Before I bought my property and moved here I had to board my goats, so I saw the other goats at the GoatieInn give birth, but it's SO different when it's your...
The weekend after I posted my last reply to this subject, another cat was hospitalized with pyrethrin toxicity at the emergency clinic where I work. A topical Hartz flea repellant was placed between the shoulder blades on a Friday evening by the owners and the owners found her on Saturday...
Do the larger breeds of goats have a longer gestational time than smaller breeds? I'm anxiously awaiting the birth of a Pygmy goat and would like to hear from someone about how many days for a Pygmy. Mine is at 138 days. Just curious.

Again, so sorry for your loss.

And I also would be interested to know if jhm47 does toilets, let's ask him.....
(P.S. No slam against Texas, just a joke, love...
I'm still trembling from the chainsaw buzzing thing. Men and chainsaws... I gave permission once to a man who asked if he could trim under the pine tree to make it easier to mow under. I came home from work to find my 60year old pine trimmed as high as my highest ladder. It looks like an...
Sorry.......Crown Royal.......I actually would like to know the answer as to why it's bad for them. Even if it's not medicated feed? What if it's not chicken crumbles but just chicken scratch?
I saw hookworm eggs in my goats feces under the microscope. Has anyone else's goats experienced this? I understand that Fenbendazole is used to treat this. Any helpful words of wisdom?
