Hey is it true that all rabbits get worms in the summer? I haven't notice any . Someone said that you cant eat rabbits in the summer because they get worms. Is this true? Thanks Scotty

I raise American chinchilla rabbits .

I have had a lot of litters of 5 to 8 kits With no nest box just a lot of hay. Couple of months a go I started using nest boxes. Now im getting 8 to 12 kits. Do you think the nest box is the reason?

Now i got to start digging out the shed to see what I have that comes close LOL

Congrats on the babies :) I lost a few buy tuching them so now what I do to check on them is to get both hands on mom and pet her really good. getting her sent on my hands then it gets on her babies when I touch them.

I dont have power out to the rabbit but I bought these rubber bowls and they work really good. Got them from our feed store. The crocks were a waste of money. Scotty
