This coming season, I'll be moving breeding to November 7th, to push lambing more or less fully into April.
Adding it here so I don't forget.

I am so tempted to do cidr to get them to all lamb in a 2wk window vs 2mo.
Using rams to tease doesn't work, they're always too close all year long to do anything.

One lamb is nursing and takes bottle. It even knows to eat from the rear if mom moves, like I showed them on day one. Not enough off mom, but really tries. Other is dumb and after wasting time and milk getting it to drink on its own, I went and tube fed it what was left from the other lamb drinking it.
They're still locked in the barn because of it.
Will tube again later in the day.

They were up nursing when I went out with the PM bottle and tube kit.
E drinks fine, off mom & bottle.
P finally drank 3oz from the bottle on her own and is drinking from mom, too.
So, hopefully, they'll be fine to wean off the supplimental milk tomorrow or so.
Though, mom doesn't want the hay. 🙄
