💗🐝Our Backyard Beekeeping Journey!🐝💗

After I mowed the lawn, I tilled up the front portion of the Apiary flower bed. We need to get something going in there and we need to move a large portion of the Shasta Daisy's out, so we can plant Dahlias in there.

I have the hose laid out as a straight edge. I want to remove that portion of grass. It's not convenient for mowing with the sprinkler valve box what it is. I want to be able to drive over the top and get it all mowed in one pass. As a bonus, the bees will get more flowers. 💞🐝🌺🌸🌻

Is it really a "bee"? I see the bee shape & all but???

Where do they come from, stay, etc?
They said it might be a type of sweat bee. Some live in the ground and I imagine in plants too. Google can only do so much, but I saw some other pictures of similar insects. There are so many different species of bees. I think the size and shape of the wings are also an indicator.

Bees and blooms.

Our Black Locust are blooming, this is one of the smaller trees, it's actually growing on our son's property.

We planted these wild roses when we put the treeline in. So glad the bees are enjoying it too.

This is a Golden Chain tree. The bees are all over it.

Our black locust finished blooming weeks ago. They bloomed before they even fully got their leaves. Things are very confused this year.
