I have an 18 day old nigerian dwarf buckling triplet that has been very active and playful for the last two weeks, but is acting like he’s not feeling well today. FAMACHA is 3-4, temp is 103.0, and he’s not scouring. Mom has plenty of milk and he has been eating well. He just stands with his back hunched, tail down, hair fluffed up, a lot of shivering, a bit of teeth grinding, and his nose is cold. I thought he may be constipated and I gave him an enema. Included pics are the poop that came afterwards.
I know I read something a few days ago about a cold nose or cold mouth pointing toward something specific being wrong, but I can’t remember what it said or where I read it.
