Someone tell me how it is June already...Man this year has been weird as hell. Anyways its that time again and boy is it going to be a busy summer. All girls are bred and I have crazy piglet fever.
Lets start with Maeja who tricked me with a fake pregnancy I think? She had no udder but was dripping milk. It was very strange and now I believe she is ACTUALLY pregnant as she has not come back into heat plus she is running with the boars.
Next up we have Lil Red who is due July 11th
Then comes July 23rd which is the due date for not one, not two, but three of my sows. Yall remember how Prissy, Lucy, and Calli all farrowed at the same time in December? Welp seems they are all on the same cycle. I’m hoping that the girls at least space out their farrowing.
Caught in the Act, Prissy cannot be bothered.
Calli resting earlier today
Lucy bean being super cuddly as always. She actually wasn’t feeling well in this photo as she had pneumonia from the fact it went from freezing to 80 degrees overnight.
The sires are either my boar or his Son so we shall see what happens! Atlas was out for a few days after all the hard work he did covering three girls at once. Not that he was sick or anything you could just tell he was exhausted from his -ahem- activities Also excuse his grungy look, the mangas are shedding out for summer.
This is Salumi the other candidate for sire investigating one of our calves
