No, a cat purr is from the larynx and diaphragm moving so fast (20-30) per minute.

I dissected a cat today. I won’t put a picture. But it was so cool

Side note- we named him James. He has a very small heart but a huge diaphragm. And he was parasite free unlike some of the others

I remember doing that! Started by cutting a "jacket". Pretty interesting. Ours had been injected with latex in the circulatory system.

That’s cool. I’m not sure if ours was. The cat we had just at a rat not long ago. The bag it came in has like no liquid compared to others. But when we opened the cat it was filled. 🫣. Someone’s cat has worms lining the intestines. It’s really neat see.

Nah - we started with a frog, hard to sharpen 🔪 our skills. Gross would be a snake. never did one thank goodness (and no desire to try).

The frogs were well soaked in preservatives. No slimy at all.
