Went to bed at 2am, woke up at 6pm. Still waiting on Kibito.

10:30am we finally have a water bag!
Gawd, I could of slept....

Anywho. Two blacks, slightly spotted, a ram & ewe. Keeping ewe. Sire Magnemite.

She was SO full of milk. She was actually easy to hand milk and now I'm upset that all the other sheep aren't like that...Teats too big, so had to put it in a bottle. Comes out like a cow! Lol

Already looking better with the dirty wool cut away, no bleeding, puss & its dryer. Gave shot, monitoring. Doesn't help that she's got weird conformation. 20230401_194030.jpg20230401_194039.jpg

Put out two bales. Huge hassle using the panels. Plus, 45mph gusts removed the tarp, along with all other tarps, so it was pointless to put a bale in there.
Gotta cut a metal panel to use on the one bale tomorrow. Out of daylight now.
A ton of lambs were in there earlier, lol.

Ross is my grandram and now I know he's a spot carrier!
Nori, ram I produced & sold. Bouncy & Blanka, his parents, who produced two spotted. And their spotted is a different type of spotting.

Clefairy had twins around 4am. Ram & ewe, spotted, sire is Ross. And surprise! He's a carrier, which is good, bc I need more of that spot line.

Bigger surprise is Clefairy being a carrier! Besides having an Egland in her tree, there's no other hint of spotting hiding.

Spots are always wanted, especially if you are selling. People will buy color over solids every chance they get.
