Two lambs left to their new homes this morning.

Most of the lambs. Decided to feed them outside as mini adults. Some are a little slow to get the idea or just oblivious. Lol
So far, I'm really liking having lambs hay & pellet raised vs pasture.
I'll have to watch the grass ones, though.

Moved supplies up by the driveway to put up a temp fence.
Will put up a temp gate over driveway to use the other side for grazing when no one is here working.
They escaped to the alley the other day. So, they're spending more time in the other paddock than I wanted, to finish eating it.
Then they'll be in the bottom paddock, #5. 6, 7 and then #8 is the little backyard/chickenyard. Road one #9, fence going up makes 10 and then 11. Cattle in the one by the arena, #12.
I need to make a ton of them around the new house and driveway. The horse track will switch to mesh fencing to make that happen. And the track will "lollypop" around the house & drive, with sheep paddocks inside.

Rough draft #bazillion. Lol
Purple is the track.
Idk how many paddocks I'll end up making yet.

More thinking...
About 24 usable acres. Might have to triple check that, though.

Moving every 7 days is probably too much. To get to the 60 day rest, I'd need 8 paddocks, but they'd be too huge. 3 acres each.

5 day move needs 12 paddocks. 2 acres each.

4 day move needs 15 paddocks. 1.6 acres.

3 day move needs 19 paddocks. 1.26 acres each.

With how many sheep I have now & cattle, it'd probably be best to stick to 12 paddocks. Leaves behind grass for cattle to graze after the sheep. Or possibly do 15 paddocks. 19 might not be enough if I grow any more.

30 paddocks makes it 0.83 acres, which is double the original 7 paddocks in size. They eat it down to nothing, so no good for cattle to come after them.

Of course, the track is going to take up land, too. Just not sure how much of it.

Love it. Ha - it’s like one of the math word problems in grade school! 😊
You could go with fewer paddocks and see how it works, adding paddocks when you know more what will work for you.

Moved the thin ewes w/lambs to barnyard. Kicked kibito out to the weaned moms. One lamb was put into a jug for weaning/pickup later in the week. Moved the weaned moms to alley, they'll move to bottom paddock tonight.
