Pretty! Do you ever shear the lambs and is their wool softer as babies?

No. They only grow 1-2.5in of wool in a year.
Best wool of any sheep is the first year's growth. Wool gets progressively, slowly, worse with age.

There's a breed, Qaraqul, that is culled as lambs or even unborn for their pelts bc the locks are said to be the most luxurious.

Moved 3 ewes out to wean their lambs, them moved Eloise to the backyard to graze while I wait for her to eventually lamb.
Left Seadra, Tatiana in since they boss the pup. And I think there's 2 other ewes left to wean on the 10th.

Started putting up temp fencing by the road.

Last few months, I've been wondering if this would happen. And it unfortunately has.
Asking around, this "member run" registry was not member run to decide these things! There was no member vote for them, no mention that it might happen. Just *surprise* your sheep are now basically kicked out!

The breed is going to heck in a handbasket!
