What is the best way to change my 2 -4 week old alpines from 3 bottles a day down to two? They are eating hey/grass(grazing all day), small amounts of grower feed a few bits here and there. No more than a 1/4 cup a day less than more. I don’t want them to be hingry but watching them they seem satisfied with grazing. I thought of giving more morning and night and a little less on mid day bottle until they are getting all there mils two times a day. Or is it best to just change over.
I will be going back to work next month and want to make sure they are ok during the day without the mid day bottle.
