which book did you read?
It was one of the first mountain man stories, starting from him as a youth.
I think it was a Preacher story, but am not sure.

I read the Smoke Jensen mountain man books which started as Smoke as a kid and he was partly raised by preacher

Things are going good with the animals my goat leads pretty good and the pigs are doing good my spot doesn't like to listen but that is just spots my sister had a spot last year and that thing was crazy but my spot isn't that bad
That could be it. It was a long time ago, maybe 10 years.

My goat, Elvis walks pretty good and so much better then last years goat, Tig. Elvis still doesn't walk that good even when I use the prong collar on him its like he is trying to choke himself those prongs hurt I don't know how he can stand to pull against them and try to run.

Does anyone happen to know so I use a collar on my goat and when I am in the show and supposed to set him up do I drop the collar or try to hold onto it when setting him up? because I can't really hold the collar and set him up at the same time and I don't know how to do it
