Today one of the cockerels that hatched in September started crowing. I don't know which Cockerel was crowing.

My mom asked how I knew it was one of the chicks crowing
I can just tell what each rooster sounds like they all sound different but no one else in my family can tell the difference between their crows.

I can tell which of my roosters is crowing by the crow.

For the chick program one of the people in charge said that she doesn't think the chicks are sexed so I guess I will wait and see how many roosters I end up with

Novogen are self sexing at hatch...roos are lighter.

last night at archery practice I made another deal with my sister. This time it was the winner could name the other person's bottle calf.

My sister got 97 points and I got 42 points so now she is going to name my bottle calf.

Today it was 50 degrees so I got to lead Phoebe around and I took her to the pasture to run around since her winter pen isn't big enough for her to run without turning so I led her around in the pasture for awhile then when I let her go Dora started whinnying to Phoebe and that made Phoebe start running up and down the fence line a few times I thought she would try to run through the fence but she didn't and when I was going to take her back to her pen she started pawing the ground like she was going to rear a bit and I didn't want to take her back when she was acting like that since I have to lead her where there is just enough room for me to go through with Phoebe with a fence on one side and trees on the other. I did get her back without her doing something too stupid.

I never went skiing, water or snow. I did consider cross country skiing, but waited too long.

Here are some photos I took today of the chicks.
I want to keep the Red rooster since I think he would do good in a show even if he is a crossbreed but I don't have a place for so many roosters.
I will probably sell the other 2 but I will see what they look like and if I have room for them

I got to ride Phoebe today!

Phoebe has been sitting in the winter pasture too long she just wants to run but she still did pretty good when I rode her
