my black lab named Blackie died today
he was about 15 years old and I have had him around my whole life and it was hot today and he was old.

but tonight at like 9:30 I had to bring the cows in the pen closest to the house and I saw Toffee and not her baby so I went looking for the baby and didn't see her I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to find her at night because the grass in the pen is tall enough that in the daytime when it is perfectly bright out I can't see the baby laying down from 50 yards so almost impossible to find baby at night then my sister and brother and dad came and looked and didn't see her in the first pen the farthest pen from the house then we looked in the 2nd pasture we found her finally now Toffee and baby are locked in the shed for the night

Glad she was found . I have goats & they are famous for feeding, nesting and walking away from young kids -- like deer. They go back & feed, nested. It can be scary, until the young ones are older.

Toffee lost her baby again we didn't look as long this time since it is bright out but I found her in a clump of bushes. I could barely even see her from 20 feet away
