Loving the herd life
Hey y'all! I don't think I have mentioned it but I am in 4H. I am doing a report on bone fractures on an animal of our choice and I chose cattle. So... I have some questions for cattle owners out there.
Disclaimer: I do know about putting down injured cattle. I am just asking about when you don't need to slaughter them and can heal their injury.
So, question 1. What would you, as a cattle owner, need to do to help the animal recover?
Question 2. This is for vets who have dealt with cattle bone fractures. What lifestyle considerations do you have to recommend to cattle owners to help this animal recover after surgery or tother treatment?
P.S. I am not cheating, we are allowed to use any resources. Well, most. I chose good ol' BYH.
P.P.S. This is due Tuesday, February 4th, so in 2 days.
Thanks everybody!
