Ok I Have a bottle baby (alpine/Boer) doe that is almost 10 wks old. When can I wean her? And I was wondering about de horning her and how that worked. This is my first goat. Are they like calves, where you just cut them off or what? Well Thanks for the help!

You can wean her now, gradually...and you've already missed the disbudding boat by 8 weeks. Now she'll have to be banded, surgically dehorned or simply left to be horned.

OK thanks, How would I do the banding thing? and how big does her horns need to be?

You should wait until she's 6+ mos old to elastrator band. I have a step by step on my home forum, PM me if interested.
