Good news first.

Opened 2 more paddocks for the rams. Last one needs more barbed wire added to bottom. Then I can let LGD pup in.

Mr LGD has been in with them the last couple of days & this morning, I found her in one of the opened paddocks with the rams. Laying in the sun, rams all around. So proud!!

Now, onto the bad news...

She's been chasing them, the ones that run. Mostly Oreo, ugh. So, I mixed mustard, vinegar, concentrated lemon oil & cayenne pepper & coating the back ends of the rams.

So far, seems to be working.

Next up is hanging a big, rubber jolly horse ball from her collar.

I cannot & will not remove her from them. If I did, she wouldn't be able to go back until spring, too cold for me to be out there enough to catch & stop her. Also, she never chases them when I'm there anyway...Worse, there's an immediate, obvious disconnect between her & the sheep when I lock her away. I must have her actually bond to the sheep & willingly stick with them most of the time. I do not want more farm dogs! I refuse it!

Anyway, that's the update. Will post again when there's anything to add.

Oh, more good news I almost forgot about.
She & the barncat are almost friends! She doesn't chase him to say hello & he holds his ground to say hi, too.
