A new dog

Ordered a Wyze camera, should be here tomorrow. If I understand it right, it should continuously record until card is full. Day and night vision.
So, I should be able to watch the next day what the dogs and rams were doing for any chasing.
I'll block the two far side paddocks, so that they'll always be in view of the camera. Unless in the barn, which would be under it.
that it works and that I see no chasing of sheep!

Hoping it can reach wifi...

It can't reach wifi in the barn or from behind a tree...Put it out in the open on an old pool ladder.

It wouldn't connect or turn on w/o the wifi.

Went out to mess with it some more to find how far out I can put it & how high...
Then rain started coming in. Ugh.
You can see the rain coming in.



Another 4~ feet into the air gets this view. Just need a post & a clear, secure bin to keep it dry....

Watching the cam, I see Mich leaving to get water.
Then I see the pup run by.
I go upstairs to get a clear view & she is laying near him while he drinks.
He goes back up to the others and she stays behind a little to sniff n pee, then runs after him.
I go to another room to see and she runs up to the ram flock and lays down.

Took her about 2min to notice, idk if she counted them or what to figure out he wasn't there. Maybe she was watching him leave.

They got chews, rams got pellets.
Dogs wandered.
She watched the horses n sheep for a bit.
Eventually, she got hyper & convinced other dog to play.
Rams then decided to leave before they got in the way.

Getting stepped on by arguing rams

There's two possibilities I'm seeing...

One, she's screwing around.
Two, she's trying to stop all the rams arguing & headbutting.

It doesn't record long enough nor soon enough. Going to change settings to always recording for tomorrow & manually, on my laptop, go over it all to see if she chases.

She did stop 2 rams arguing the other week. But idk if this is the same. Eh. Seems too playful about it, so probably not Two. =/
