Just returned from a trip to Spain. Have been seeing this bird for the last couple of years just outside Valencia (Spain). Unfortunately what can't be seen in the rather poor photograph is the crested head.
My wife and I thought it sounded like and looked like bulbuls we had seen in India.
Is this a correct identification?
If so what is it doing in Spain? Is it migratory, off-course or just an escapee?
