My little Nubian goat Annie has pneumonia. I took her to the vet yesterday and he scoped her and xrayed her today, she has pneumonia in his estimation. He is treating her and I am picking her up tomorrow. He also did cultures and have sent them off for analysis.

Funny thing is: She is eating, no fever, jumping around and playing. No symptoms except for the runny nose and some coughing. That's what really had 3 vets stumped. That's why I took her in for tests.

So, that's the final diagnosis. I have a question for all goat people, should I breed her?? I bought her to breed and have kids and to milk.

If she clears up, there's no reason not to.
If it's some funky strain that's hard to cure and keeps coming back, then I'd cull her, sanitize everything, and start over.
