I have been a Christian for almost 25 years.

The verse that spoke to my heart first was Isaiah 6:8 "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."

Prayer request: my adult DS has been sick for almost 3 weeks, prescriptions didn't help. He's doing home remedies and slowly improving, but a full healing would help.

It's hard to pick my favorite hymn, but of more recent music I love "The Blood is Still There". I heard it at a camp meeting about 2002, as a young Christian.

I got baptized mere weeks before my son was born. The preacher came to our apartment and did a Bible study with me, then opened up the church so I could be baptized. I was 27. The preacher made jokes about pushing my big belly under and made it funny. I did look like a beached whale.
