    Hello guys.
My gelding Apollo is about 5 years old.
I was told that he was an Arabian. To me he looks more thoroughbred-y until he start running around then he looks like an Arabian.

What do you think he looks like?
I was thinking he might be a cross between the two...?

I don't have any recent pictures of him.
The fist picture is the most recent. IMG_20190402_141440473.jpg IMG_20181204_160308146.jpg IMG_20181204_160330842_BURST000_COVER.jpg

Cross breed would be my guess. Neck doesn't look right at all for full blood Arabian..neither does it's mouth/nose area (muzzle).

I agree with greybeard. I've seen quite a few Arabians, from show horses to some that would have been laughed out of a show ring, and I've never seen a head like that on any of 'em. The angle from which he was photographed makes it a little tough to tell, but his body doesn't really look Arabian, either.

I don't think he is Arabian. But if you like him and he is a good horse for you, then that's all that matters.

Doesnt look Arabian to me. Maybe a cross. Doesnt have that scoop on his face most Arabs do and hes pretyy long legged. I k ow you can DNA test animals so maybe you can do that to find out? In the long run it doesnt matter as long as he makes you happy and you love him.

I agree with the rest of the folks. Nothing about his head or tail set says Arabian. But, if you love him, it doesn't really matter does it? :)

I agree with everyone else...he looks like he could be an Arab/Thoroughbred cross.
I worked on an Arabian breeding farm and his head just doesn't look at all like an Arabian.
He's beautiful though! How many HH is he? :)

Thanks everyone! That's what I was thinking. And no it doesn't matter at all to me just curious. Last time I measured him he was 15.2. but that was the year I got him when he was 3.

Here is a better picture of his head shape
This was our first winter with him.
