Are there any Super Spinners out there?

I've seen items made with long flowing alpaca fiber- is that because they make yard like fun fur with flowing long pieces of fiber like a 'shag' yarn? I'm ordering a few Spinning books, but not sure it covers that kind of yarn as I'm a new spinner. But that would be Wonderful if that were possible.
