Just wanted to link to this page in case, like me, you guys missed the new legislation around goats that's getting put in place. "Animal ID, premises identification, and movement reporting for goats are expected to become mandatory in 2018" I personally am horrified by this massive step towards more overregulation which only serves to drive out small hobbyists and farmers.
This new legislation will result in the possibility of a huge fine for anyone caught transporting, or selling a goat without an ear tag, this even includes if you are taking your animal to the vet or just for a hike somewhere or if you move to a new property.
