Australian shepherd help with ear mites

hello! i have a fantastic little blue merle aussie female. i suspect she may be pregnant and also recently contracted earmites. i know that aussies have the possiblity of the MDR1 gene and that i must stay away from lots of different medications.
how do i treat her without hurting the babies or her???

Treat the ears with mineral oil for a few days ( put in a few drops in each ear ) then repeat in two weeks. just like for rabbits.
