Baymule I absolutely love little Maybelline and Tinkerbelle. That little tri colored ram is gorgeous. So sorry for your loss of your ewe and hopefully the orphans will be fine. I kept seeing your thread and kept saying I need to read that but I just cannot seem to get my brain out of "giving me the silent treatment." If I lived closer I would happily take in some of the lambs for you and no doubt probably wouldn't be able to give them up after.

Ok, worm report on the front field ewes. The girls and I used the homeopathic wormer, 1 ounce in half a gallon of distilled water, shaken hard to mix it. Thursday January 15, the girls and I wormed the front field ewes and lambs with the homeopathic wormer. I had been using several commercial wormer products and still had a ewe die on Wednesday. There were 2 ewes with slightly puffy bottle jaw. Friday their bottle jaw was worse (from the worm die off) but my heart sank, thinking the wormer wasn’t working. A Dorper ewe’s whole face was one big puffy advertisement for I’M GONNA DIE. Yesterday, Saturday, another ewe had bottle jaw, that had presented no sign of being wormy, eye membranes bright pink.

This morning, Sunday, on third day, all bottle jaw is gone except for one tiny bulge on the Dorper ewe with the swollen face.

It’s working.

With this product I’ll be able to worm the lambs. They get hit the hardest. By not using the chemical wormers, I won’t be building up a population of wormer resistant worms.

Most of my flock is worm resistant, low egg counts and seldom need worming. I’ve culled hard for worms over the years. There are the few that don’t have good resistance plus the lambs that haven’t had time to build resistance to worms. I think I’m gonna be real happy with this homeopathic remedy.

WOW !!! Now that's the kind of results that can turn even a non-believer into believing the benefits.

If it's ok can I name 1 of the lambs? I'm still thinking about a name for it but I would really appreciate it if it's ok with you. Thank you
Sure! What'cha got?

The granddaughters wanted to name one potato, I objected, they insisted, so we compromised with Tater. They named Cinnamon's ewe lamb Pumpkin, she is a red color with a white bonnet. Freckles had a carbon copy of herself, they named her Polka Dot. Mabelline the bottle baby has a twin sister, named her Avon.

Weighed Mabelline last night by holding her on the bathroom scale, then weighed myself. At 1 week, 5 days old, she weighed 16 pounds!

The 2 Demon Children have full tummies right now, they both took a full bottle, 16 ounces. I cleaned their dog crate, sopping wet potty pads, wiped the tray with papertowels and put fresh potty pads down for them. They are napping planning their next assault. They are taking bottles 4 hours apart, about 5-6 per day. I bought more potty pads yesterday, they have about gone through a package of 150, I use 4 at a time. Yesterday I bought a package of 18 human potty pads, I'll use them at night. I spray the tray with clorox water, wiped it down, let it air dry before putting down new potty pads. I've put them outside all day in the nice sunny weather we've been having, only bringing them in when I leave. But now it is raining, so I'll be putting human potty pants on them, secured with clothes pins so they can run around the house.

Raising them in the house is more expensive than outside, but it sure is giving them a roaring head start in life.
