It's cold. Been raining, it's turning to sleet and tomorrow will be icy.
It’s icy outside and cold. Car and truck are covered in ice. The hoop shelter in the front field collapsed, on one side. The ewes and lambs can still get under the high side. The jugs are all open so they can go in those too. Basically it’s miserable.
Hurricane Beryl picked up the whole thing, flung it across the driveway and out in the middle field. I cut all the cow panels apart, threw them over the fence and stomped them flat.
Shortly after I put the Dorper ewes in that field, they climbed it and smashed half of it flat.
And now this.
I think it’s time to rethink this. I’m really tired of this crap.

Maybe Fern? That's this storm's name.I have lots of white ewe lambs. Snow will be a great name for one of them. Also maybe Ghost.
I love the color on her sweet little face!Scottie, granddaughter of old Ringo, daughter of Aerial and Cooper, had a single ewe lamb this morning. Aerial is the only registered daughter I got out of old Ringo before he died.
Another registered ewe for the flock!
Scottie led the jailbreak to rendezvous with Little Ringo.
