Max likes his barn. It’s running a river but he’s dry.

So thought I'd hijack your thread for a story / update. Back in July we sold our place in North Central Oh and moved to South East Missouri we are just north of Poplar Bluff. Our kids started school this fall. Our son is in 7th grade and has home economics and shop class. In shop right now they are doing hunter Ed and learning how to load and unload and the parts of all guns. They bring in guns and the kids load and unload with dummy rounds. Then there is a physical test on it. Also they will learn how to raise and harvest cat fish and how to process a deer. Any ways hope your backs better

My dad told me about the shooting range in high school. It was in the basement. All the boys would bring their rifles to school, and stow them in their UNLOCKED lockers until classes were done for the day. Then they'd practice...in Connecticut, 1940s. And the NRA would teach classes, too.

Sadly, it's a different world now.
