May 7, Thursday! Buford is going to be so excited!

I'm tired. I've been on the run and I'll still be going for awhile. Pick up puppy Thursday, 4 hour drive one way. Company coming in Friday, catering a wedding Saturday. My friend/daughter Sarah and her daughter and mom are coming in, Sarah is catering a wedding an hour and half away. Staying here to save on B&B cost. She brings her dogs, they will have the front yard, daughter can let them in and out. I'll close off the driveway with a cow panel, Carson can have the rest of the yard. Daughter is autistic and she can let them in and out while we are gone. I'll go help her cater the wedding and we'll have a good time. They will go home Sunday.

In the meantime, my house looks like an explosion took place and I've got to get it to look less destroyed. My house cleaning skills are like pulling the trigger on a sawed off shotgun. BB's fly everywhere, practically everything gets hit, but not a killing shot. Clutter. My nemesis is clutter. I ignore it, after awhile it becomes part of the furniture and I just don't see it anymore. I have too much crap. So I need to declutter whatever I can, dust, sweep, mop, and do general clean up. I only have to make myself happy and my happy place is outside. Gonna be busy this week.
I'm excited for you! A new puppy! 💗

I'm a good ignorer too...lol

Clutter can be hidden in closets...
:hide
My first winter here, I built out my closets. I threw out those tacky wire racks they put in mobile homes and built shelf towers, 18" deep and put up double clothes hanging poles. I used sawhorses in the utility room for painting the boards. I painted all the boards before putting them together. Then all I had to do was do some touch up. And yes, shelves are full.

Some can even be dumped into drawers...😁
Full. I have one chest of drawers.

I made progress on the clean up yesterday. This morning I'm going to clean the sleeper sofa. For something that doesn't see much use, it sure gets dirty. I'll open it up and vacuum it, clean under and behind it. It's on my list. If I do something not on my list, I write it on the list so I can cross it off.:gig:lol:

Sounds like you're making progress! I always have to make a mad dash to get the house cleaned up when company is expected. Yes, I'd rather be outside...lol
