birds in barn

Does anyone have a idea or proven way to keep birds out of a barn? It is about 16x20, the birds fly in the door to my goat section and the chicken side. I have put up windchimes inside but would like to put something outside on the wire covering the lot.Any help is welcomed thanks..

Netting works as well as a webbed design using fishing line.
You can get the real cheap garden netting from Lowes... it doesn't have to be strong just a covering.

We have used life size plastic owls with limited success. The netting sounds like it would work well. I have heard of using a CD player with a CD that has sparrow sounds might work.
