spent night in hotel as I have minor surgery this morning. Hopefully Boone or Gizmo will vacuum in my absence and put away some laundry. They are much more likely to do so than bil. At least he bragged on how much he liked the honey wheat bread I made. He ate 3/4 of a loaf yesterday. It’s the one thing he’s good at. Eating. Not complimenting.

Something has to be going bad haywire in my body for pain to be ratcheted up this high. It’s been a 10 several times the past few weeks. I had to change pain scale to 9 and save 10 for begging for a way to end it with nausea involved. Randy was at Dr with me when I told her it was a 9 and he argued it was a 10 because I cry. I had to explain to him that as bad as it is, it gets even worse.

The appt for surgery surgery was made with the expectation that it would make a difference. This hip has already been replaced. Currently the pain is everywhere. It’s not located in just my hip. So I may be going through this this morning for no reason or at least no big result.
although the joints are involved and it feels like they’re separating in my hands when I use them or in my feet when I put weight on them, this pain doesn’t seem to be from the rheumatoid disease.
I suppose it could be fibro. I know at least someone here has both PsA and Fibromyalgia. Could you tell me has it been your experience for the Fibro to get so bad you feel like you have to go into the emergency room, but don’t because you know they can’t give you anything that you’re not already taking.? It never used to cause this much problem, but like I said last few weeks I spent many days at the new 10. I need answers. This is a new and unwelcome development.

The house is so bad, I was going to wear cleats and just felt all the dog hair into a wall to wall carpet. Now I’m wheelchair bound again. I guess I could get studded tires…I can visualize Fen/Boone/Gizmo carpet runners…

You sound much like my middle sister, she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 30 years ago. They won't prescribe anything that helps the pain, she might become an addict . In addition, her DH has dementia, and she's his caregiver.

I pray for both of you.

I started feeling a bit better this evening. Boone, Gizmo and I were doing simple tasking, Boone was nailing it! Gizmo is making progress. She’ll hand me a foot while she chews her treat and is beginning to boop my hand. She’s doing way better with the scratch board too.

Fen, who is usually off by himself somewhere pining for Randy, wanted to join in so he was included in everything we did and he did super well tasking, but only “necessary stuff”. He will bring my phone, my glasses but absolutely not a ball.

As always, Boone astounded me in everything he did. All 3 dogs started getting really clear communicating, or I’m getting better at understanding. They did well together. I did have to push Boone away from Fen’s bubble a couple times but otherwise he did great.

He actually went and grabbed a bag of the big cookies he likes and handed to me, like Heath used to do. None of those tiny snackies, he wants something substantial 🤪
He also complained loudly for the longest time while I was trying to read. I finally asked what he wanted. He’d already had a freeze bowl, his dinner and playtime with the other two. Then I saw the “find it” bag. He actually was intentional, he wanted to search. I made it hard, hiding it under the mat in his crate, underneath the sofa pillow and in the kitchen on the Hoosier cabinet. He found them all very quickly.! it was hilarious because gizmo tried to help him cheat one time and she was excited so she got to play once and Finn had a turn and now they’re just resting waiting for Randy to get home. Good dogs.
