we have used the powder replacer with great sucess, as long as it is a good replacer. save-a-kid brand worked the best, no bloat, no problems with scours. was sure the kid got colostrum for 24hrs, then mixed with mom's milk, then switched to powder. we were feeding nubians, usually a triplet or weak twin.
