Hey so I went to an auction and bought 3 bred rabbits for 6$ a piece. I figured they were new Zealand from the back of the room. When I paid for them the ticket said English spot, but they don't have a hare type body. So far I'm thinking a new Zealand mix, or a Havana. The ears seem to short to be new Zealand, and the backs are very,... Round when they sit still. What do y'all think? By the way the back Seems a bit more arched then in the picture.

How much do they weigh? That's a good starting point; you can rule a lot of possibilities in or out just by the size, as well as the body type. An awful lot of people look no further than the markings, to them, every broken patterned rabbit is a ES, but as you said, the body doesn't bear that one out (nor, really, do the markings). Just looking at them, I'm leaning toward NZ, though as you said it could be an NZ crossed with something.

That is not an English spot at all. They look like broken-patterned NZs, or maybe a satin mix.
