Hello. I just recently spoke to a pig expert vet and she expressed concerns about the brittle bones that are common in "miniature" pigs- I have an australian mini pig who i am rasising as a pet and I want her to be as healthy as possible.
Does anybody know of a product/medication/food group that can improve/help her bones? keeping in mind that the vet didn't say my pig has brittle bones just that it can be a concern...

I wish I could help but your question
Is out of my experience level.
My miniature pig experience is zero
And I have never encountered that proplem in my market pigs before.
Someone else might see your thread that has more experience with minies also you might want to ask the vet you talked to they will know
Products available to your area

Dairy products, eggs shells and calcium rich foods should help your pig avoid any problems with brittle bones. Don't over do it, just add some to her ration and you won't have to worry.
