Bunny Question. Need help! My bunny Bean is acting kinda strange. Her first week went AWESOME she loved me and was SOO happy. She has a "bunny house" just for her to feel safe in and lots of toys. She is learning to poop and pee in her litter box and getting the hang of it. But for 2 days now since there was a thunderstorm AND fireworks tonight she is SO skittish and jumpy and her poop occasionally has been not a little dropping but like a regular turd any advice would help! :) thank you

Greetings @Nita and welcome to BYH. Glad you stopped by! You obviously have "a" question, but never posted it. That's OK since this is the intro section, not the rabbit section... You'll most likely get more appropriate responses in the rabbit area. Anyway, we have quite a few active Rabbiteers on the site so if you pick the appropriate subsection under rabbits and post your question(s), you'll most likely have responses in no time at all. Oh, and we're a buch of picture addicts here so if you have some pics of your bunny that you can post, we'll all be grateful!

Is her diet the same as where she was previously?

I'm assuming you just got her recently?

Any change, new place, diet, even moving things in a rabbits pen, can cause issues.

Not at all I even get hay where the lady gets hers from. Pellets are the same as well. There was a cage over flowing with bunnies when I saw her and we bonded pretty good considering they are natural prey animals and are afraid of everything. :/

The fireworks probably have upset her I would give her time, lots of patienc to return to her normal behavior. As for the stools I would consider having a fecal run by a vet.

today she hasn't had an irregular poop yet which I'm glad about! :) but I am thinking about taking her to the vet anyways just to make sure the only problem is when I try and pick her up she gets so terrified that I'm afraid she is gunna break bones trying to get away because rabbits have such delicate bones it's easy for her to break or fracture one:/ so I've been working on just getting her comfortable with hopping up and sitting on my stomach or chest for a treat so she'll associate it to more of a positive way. She still seems skittish when other people come over and go in her room to see her but when it's just me and her she binkies and runs circles and even rubs my nose with her nose! I've never seen a bunny do that before! :D
