Perhaps. But really this is the best outcome for any lost dog (short of reuiniting with their original owner). If I ever lost a dog or cat, I would desperately hope someone had found them and loved them and taken care of them.

So...

I set up the crate I have for the bedroom, but it just seemed a little small. The foster said she had a chewed but useable crate that I could have.

I brought it home, gave it a good rinse and let it air dry.

The crate I had could fit inside the one she gave me!

All set up.

The blanket I will add for Caleb is currently folded, on the foot of my bed...where Debbie is adding her delicate feline scent.
