My LGDs hate birds of prey, they chase them to the fence and bark at them. It took awhile for them to realize the cattle egrets would not eat the sheep.
Oh, and on this morning's street walk Caleb saw a squirrel...acted as if he'd never before seen one? Attentive, but he's learning not to jerk the leash.
The shed handle didn't work too well as a leash anchor, so I now have a cinder block that I use to anchor Caleb when I want to check my flocks.
I thought she was in the bedroom, but apparently not.
A few minutes ago Debbie must have snuck from the living room and past a sleeping Caleb, but didn't count on him getting up, following me to the dryer...he saw her, bounded down the hall. Only door open was the bathroom. I followed him quickly. No sounds of battle, good. I turned on the light and Debbie was half behind the toilet, front half, paws on top of the seat, glaring at Caleb. No hiss. Caleb acted friendly, "Let's play!"
I removed Caleb, put him behind the gate, then opened up the bedroom door, and she scuttled in, not amused, but not freaked out as far as I could tell.
Last night she kept coming in the bedroom, checking out Caleb in the crate. I have confidence that it will work out.
