My 7 week old Holstein calf has a dry cough after it being wet and the temp dropping from 72 to 27 degreesin 24 hrs. We put a blanket on her and she has shelter. What could or should I do for her?
She really needs a vet visit as soon as possible, Have you already booked a schedule? is she taking any medicine? I hope she's doing good now.

A calf that is coughing without fever or any change in respiratory rate may just need fresh air and not antibiotics! Calves with pneumonia need injectable antibiotics. There are many antibiotics approved to treat pneumonia in dairy calves, so work with your veterinarian to choose a treatment protocol for your farm.
