Calf with infected wound from halter

I just notice part of her halter was to tight apparently alittle to late. Help. Smells infected will be cleaning tonight and Appling topical 2% antibiotic cream. Tractor supply to far to make it before they close tonight but will be getting penicillin in the morning.

While she's still growing you might want to get her a cow collar to wear, instead. That way you can easily get a handle on her if you need to catch her and hold her. A man's old leather belt would serve the same function.
