Can I bring a doe back into milk?

I have an odd question...

If a 3 year old doe freshened earlier this season, the kids have been weaned and she has not been milked in about 6 weeks...would it be possible to begin milking her again? She had been giving about a gallon of milk a day from 2 milking.

Have the kids been gone for 6 weeks? If so, no.

As long as she is producing milk you can milk her, although you will not get as much as you would have if you were milking her all along.
