can I use "red cell" in pigs?

Hi. I am wondering if anyone has used "Red Cell" in pigs? I am going to castrate some pigs and wanted to know if they would benefit from the added vitamins. If anyone has used it, how much, how often, etc. Thank-you!

We use red cell but not for castration if i have a pig off feed or water or a sow very weak after delivering i fill a large seringe and get as much as you can down there through just the one seringe but youll be wareing more then you get down thats normal. i only use as "incase of emerencies" due to the salt it carries great for downer pigglets use a small seringe only fill half its a strong punch to a litle guy if your worried about your pigs vitamin intake dont be if your feeding a hog feed rather 14 16 % it has a swine vita pack in it one thing we do is feed hard boiled eggs to the pigs every day dont shell it we give one a peace just for added lisine

There shouldn't be much blood loss at all from castration, so your pigs shouldn't need any Red Cell.
