Can sheep eat the husks from tomatilla?

I'm making some verde sauce and the recipe calls for tomatillos, so I'm wondering if sheep can eat the papery husks?

I think I'd throw them away. I don't know if they would be ok or not, but why take the chance?

My sheep will eat tomatoes and the vines down to a nub. Similar to tomatilloes enough that it's probably fine to feed the husks.
