can't find my way around

In the old Backyard the posts that had new comments were boldfaced. And I could hit "new" for new posts on that subject. How can I get to the new posts here without having to read all the posts.

Mine shows a blue dot by anything I haven't read yet under the forums and going to individual places. Sometimes I just click on recent posts at the top of the page. To the right of your screen is a tab that says recent...
I'm working my way around too.
I like the alerts... kinda cool.
It's a little "busy" but has some nice features.

On the lower level of the menu bar (at the top of the screen) is "New Posts" it will show you all the new posts since you've been here last.

You can click the blue dot on any thread and it will take you to the last post you read.

I was looking for the blue dot and could not find it. Then I realized -- Log in Dummy -- Ah there they are. Duh.....
