From the most beautiful city on earth, Vancouver BC. Not really but it sure is pretty. Especially the +15 Celsius outside.

Well, I will agree, Vancouver is beautiful. DH and I spent a couple of days there waiting on an Alaska cruise to leave.

But lucky us, there are lots of beautiful places on this side of Mother Earth, but so little time in which to see them all.

I think we got the better side of the world, don't you.

Welcome to BYH. What kind of critters you got???

DonnaBelle in beautiful downtown Pierce, OK, pop. about 25 people and lotsa cows & horses.

:welcome from often freezing cold Southeast Ontario :)

It was around the 2 degree mark today ;)

As of right now my critter count sits at 30 chickens of varying breeds who are going to go in the greezer and than I'll be starting with a few rare breeds. Also will be getting some silver fox rabbits soon. I only have acess to an acre at the place we are renting and I really can't afford anything more as the prices are outrages. Farmers who have been doing it for decades are moving out of the valley as they can't make it as the feed costs and the energy costs slowly go up. I'm dreaming of moving back to MB and starting my own little farm which I'm hoping to be 100% self sufficient. It's amazing how everything can be utilized for something if someone doesn't mind a little work and with a little ingenuity.

I'm from northern Michigan, kinda like Canada without the health care. We do say "eh" and "pop" and watch The Red Green show and wear tukes and get can get CBC and some Canadian radio stations and we like Gordon Lightfoot and Brian Adams and the Michigan radio stations play Bob & Doug McKenzie songs during Xmas.

And we're actually colder here in Michigan than Vancouver is. Darn you and your mild Pacific winters! :)

And WE LOVE HOCKEY!!! Detroit is HOCKEY TOWN!

Oh geez, they still air the red green show? Last time I saw that on television I must have been like 10.

Yikes.

Do you watch Heartland?

I live near the Ganonoque boarder crossing into NY lol. Well not REAL near, about a 1.5 hour drive east.
