We just found one of our younger rabbits inside of its cage this morning dead. Would anyone have a guess for the cause of death? I have attached a picture below. My best guess is a snake but would like some other opinions. Thanks!

Yep, snake. Try placing moth balls here and there around the place where the rabbits are housed, though not real near the cages....the fumes from those are not the best.

Try putting ping pong balls or wooden eggs near your rabbits, if the snake tries to swallow them thinking it’s an easy egg they won’t be able to get them back out and die. Not the nicest death, but it shouldn’t be messing with your animals. If you have the ability, I’ve heard peacocks attack snakes, but I don’t have personal experience with that.

Garlic will work to repel snakes also. A little less noxious to us and the rabbits than moth balls.
