The moderators don’t play. They will warn you, you don’t pay attention and you get shut down. Consequences. I hope you learned respect for the rules for being here. This is a friendly forum, a great place to talk to other people who love their animals.

Welcome to BYH. You have a good goal to become an Orpington breeder. Are you going to stay with the black color or get other colors as well? But I have to ask, why steers? Pets? Meat?

Black, blue and splash. They are all from the same gebe. I plan to have a Bbs flock. Blues have always been my favourite. My goal is to have over a hundred but I don't know how realistic that is!
Steers because you can buy them as 4 day old, wean them 8 months later, and get good profit. Plus prices for beef in NZ are high.

I like the splash patterns. Wyandottes have a red blue laced color. It is a dark red. The splash version is a light red with blue lacing. Honestly, I prefer the splash version and I had a couple of them at one time.

It was dissapointing but I;m not going to make the same mistakes I did there on here!
Are you sure you were banned on BYC? Because I was just reading my watched threads (which the NZ thread is one) and your profile says you were last seen yesterday. I don’t know how they could track that you were there if they don’t let you log in.

I'm logged in but can;t access anything. I go on a lot to see if I'm unbanned!
