I would like to add a Trio of meat rabbits (NZ Does and Cali Buck) to my Chicken Coop. Will it be Ok if the Rabbits eat any Layer Pellets that hit the ground?
Im assuming all will be fine just thought I would double check.

Yes, that's fine. Mine get chicken crumbles from time to time with no problem.

However, something you didn't ask about - if the chickens have access to the newborn rabbit kits, they will kill and eat them. That is a danger until the rabbits are up and hopping around outside the nestbox. That means you don't want your rabbits running loose in the chicken run all the time. Some kind of division between the chickens and any does that are going to kindle is going to be necessary.

I don't think that would be a problem so far as it is not in excess. Layer mash is high in calcium and excess Ca can lead to urinal calculi.
