DH read somewhere that it's ok to feed your now used up and almost crunchy Christmas tree to sheep. No flocking or tinsel, just tree.
So - is it ok?? What do you all think?

Never hurt mine. They nibble it and the tannins help with any worms. I cut some young long leaf pine for my goats every couple months. Lot of pine around here.

If it was sprayed with something to set the needles, I would not give it to my sheep. Practically all commercial lots are sprayed trees.

Think I'm ok - LOL the pile of needles on the floor - huge. Just walk by without touching it and it's like Charlie Brown's Christmas tree - raining needles.
