Hello
We had a fecal done on our new kids (new to goats- we only have the 2) and they have Coccidiosis. One is 10 weeks (I am 98% sure that she has had it for awhile before we got her) and one is 6 weeks.
We are doing the treatment from our vet and he said to clean everything with bleach.
Is this safe?
We clean the pen and goat house daily. They have a large pen and goat house. It is rather clean already since we’ve only had goats for 2 weeks.
What is the best way to clean up extra after Coccidiosis?
Thank you!

I’m cleaning my barn right now, other issues, with a bleach and water solution...but the goats are not being kept in there at all while I’m doing this whole process. Luckily we now have plenty of room. Anyways...it’s taking me much longer than I thought. So, I’m doing it in small sections....then, once done with bleach, I’m going to follow it up with tons of dawn dish soap..this is his I clean all my pens......the Dawn is safe for everyone.....good luck scrubbing. I would not keep them in there while you have bleach fumes up in the air......
